Bulldog girls basketball nipped in epic sectional thriller by W-G

ADA__The Ada High School girls basketball team played two nearly identical battles with Waynesfield-Goshen this season and both ended up in three-point defeats where a last-second three-point try came up just short.

In the do-or-die tournament rematch at Ada Wednesday, February 21, visiting W-G dodged a furious Bulldog rally and hung on for a thrilling 53-50 win in an intense Div. IV sectional semifinal battle.

211 non-emergency referral service coming to Hardin County

CORRECTION: All calls will initially be handled through Toledo's 2-1-1 system.

By the end of February 2024, Hardin County will be served by the call 2-1-1 information and referral service that assists some 95% of the United States and answers some 21 million requests for help every year. By dialing 211, callers are connected to a wide range of non-emergency services.

Quest Federal Credit Union will honor the educators of Hardin County with 2024 Teacher of the Year awards. One deserving teacher from each school district will be selected to receive this prestigious award during a special luncheon on May 17.

Sheriff's Office to provide Dog Warden and Pound services in 2024

Sheriff Everhart is pleased to announce that he and the Hardin County Commissioners have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding in regards to the Hardin County Dog Warden and dog pound.
