On March 12, 2025, the body of Todd C. Musson was located in rural Hardin County. We would like to give our deepest condolences to the Musson family during this incredibly difficult time.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the entire Ada Community and the following agencies for their dedicated efforts in the search for Mr. Musson:

I'm starting a Wednesday night contemporary worship and study session at Ada First UMC from 6:30-7:15 p.m. The first date is tentatively April 2.

I'm looking for some musicians that would be interested in playing modern praise songs with me. You can be in the core group that plays every week or sit in every now and then.

The idiom “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” is believed to have started in the 1860s in Wales. The original version was noted as “eat an apple on going to bed and you’ll keep the doctor from earning his bread.” The current version dates back to 1887.

Felicia Jo Smelser, age 79, of Ada, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Vancrest of Ada. 

She was born on March 23, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Chester and Angeline (March) Stashwick.  

Felicia is survived by her two daughters: Theresa (Mark) Bendele of Ottawa and Mary (Marty) Borer of Holcomb, WI; son, David (Allison) Bond of Lansing, MI; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Sandy) Stashwick of Hilton Head, SC; two sisters: Christie Welch of Tuscon, AZ and Mary Frank of LaFayette; a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Stashwick of Illinois; and a brother-in-law, Loren Cramer of Lima.
