Celebrate Freedom: Juneteenth 2024

Juneteenth, celebrated as a U.S. federal holiday on June 19, commemorates the second independence day in the United States. It is the anniversary of the day in 1865 that slaves in Galveston, Texas learned that they had been freed by President Abraham LIncoln. The Bluffton Icon and Ada Icon are closed and on pause for the holiday.
