Four sophomores swept the Ada High School varsity softball awards for 2022-2023: Pitching ace Jenna Bassitt was named Offensive Player of the Year, shortstop Karley Wagner was named team Defensive Player of the Year and first baseman Aidra Preston won the Bulldog Award for attitude and hustle. Center fielder Tess Griffith was named Most Improved Player. The Lady Bulldogs finished second in the Northwest Conference at 7-1, and ended up 16-7 overall in 2023. PHOTOS by Cort Reynolds.
