A clean sweep for Ada

No, that's not a tank coming at you, it's Ada's new street sweeper. The vehicle is more efficient, safer, and less prone to repair than the old one. Here, Cheryl Geer of the Street Department drives the sweeper down South Johnson Street to become famliar with the controls, which look like those found in an airplane cockpit. The two-seater can be driven from the left or right side. The sweeper arrived just before Wednesday's brief storm which Intellicast reports having had wind gusts of 52 mph, thus more leaves and twigs on Ada streets...a good time to see what the new sweeper can handle.
