Here's the assignment from Kristie Steiner, art teacher, for Ada sixth grade art students: Paint one piece of paper however you wish. Then, figure out a way to cut it into stripes and still be able to weave it together. After the weaving, outline all the strips with a permanent marker to finish. Here's one of the examples that the Icon found posted on the school wall with other art works.
