ONU Professor and Ada Rotarian Christine North with Karla, the 8th grade girl she sponsors in the Dominican Republic. North says she feels “so honored to be able to sponsor Karla and serve as a role model for her.” North hopes to encourage Karla to continue her education, to go to college, to live a fulfilling life. “She is such a sweet young woman.”
