Documents for the October 3 meeting of the Ada council have been posted HERE. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at 115 W Buckeye Ave and is available by Zoom.

Senior Grace Honigford (West Chester/Lakota East) recorded the first hole-in-one in school history, leading the Ohio Northern women's golf team on another record-breaking day Saturday and Sunday at the Bluffton Fall Classic.

Honigford and the Polar Bears set or tied nine school records on the weekend, including her ace.

  • Honigford - 18-hole final round of 70 - Broken.
  • Honigford - 36-hole score of 143 - Tied.
  • Honigford - 4th consecutive Medalist honor - Broken.

Honigford also tied her 36-hole school record of 143, set at the Bluffton Fall Classic in 2021.

She won Medalist honors by three shots.

Ada presentation on October 19

Four ghost story talks by Fred Steiner take place in October, according to the author of the newly released “Where Bluffton’s Ghosts Sleep.”

The talks, presented with PowerPoint graphics, are open to the public on the following dates:

McDonald's owner-operators throughout Ohio will be raising funds for local high school athletic programs, including Ada High School, on October 6. During the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day, 20 percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app will  be donated to local sports programs.

High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day was created by local McDonald’s owner/operators in Ohio as a way to support the high school athletics in the communities they serve.
