CRIDERSVILLE - The visiting Ada girls basketball team rallied from a sluggish start to defeat former conference foe Perry 49-36 Monday evening.
The purple and gold evened their record at 5-5 and snapped a two-game losing skid with the win. Meanwhile, the Lady Commodores dropped to 1-10 with the defeat.
"We got off to a bad start, but the press got us going," said third-year Bulldog head coach Bill Taflinger.
Ada trailed 14-10 after one period but turned that around with a press to grab a 20-17 halftime lead.
The Bulldogs extended that edge to 34-26 after three periods and outscored Perry 15-10 in the final stanza to post the road win.
