Hardin Co. Citizens Sheriff's Academy begins September 24
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Hardin County Citizens Sheriff's Academy, to be conducted consecutive Thursdays beginning September 24 and continuing through November 5. The sessions are planned for 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the office of Sheriff Everhart, 1025 S. Main St., Kenton.

HWSC Conservation Contest registration is now open for ages 8-19 in 4-H or FFA with a limit of one entry per participant. The contest will be held on September 8 at the Hardin County Fairgrounds Community Building. Check in will be from 10:00-10:30 a.m. with the contest beginning at 10:30 a.m. Please contact the Hardin Soil and Water office to sign up ahead of time or sign up the morning of the contest.
