ONU vs. Notre Dame in football? Well, yes, in a manner of speaking

 

Students from Ohio Northern University’s T.J. Smull College of Engineering have created a team of robotic football players to compete in the fourth annual University of Notre Dame robotic football competition on Friday, April 20, at 7 p.m. in Notre Dame’s Stepan Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Nothing like a spring day in Ada. The red buds are in bloom, as are tulips. Any day now, start  watching for iris blooms.

Greetings from The Ada Icon. The what? The Ada Icon. We are the new guy in town.  What exactly are we? And, why are we here?

Good questions. Here is the short answer: In September 2009 we launched The Bluffton Icon – a free online news source. Two and one-half years later, The Bluffton Icon, experiencing between 800 and 900 views per weekday, offers its viewers local stories and advertising from area businesses at very affordable rates.

The Ohio Northern University Department of Communication and Theatre Arts presents "Thoroughly Modern Millie," at The Freed Center for the Performing Arts, Thursday, April 19 through Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are: Adults $15; Seniors $12; Non-ONU Students $12; Children $9. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Freed Center Box Office at 419-772-1900 or on our website at www.freedcenter.com.
